i put my thumb in the bass’s mouth and dont know if there is a trick to keep them from flopping real hard or not. something like pressure or where u hold or what? any tips?

well i really havent been fishing on lakes. only ocean salt water. i live in maryland and i just wanted some tips on large or small mouth bass fishing or any type of lake fish, tips on what type of artificial bait or real bait i can use to catch these fish and a good reccomended fishing line i can add to my rod (uglystik) i dont own a boat and that how most people catch thier fish becuase they go in the middle of lake and fish so will that be a problem?? please help me to get started

I’m curious to know what bass fisherman’s favorite website is to gain information and tips, I have always used www.BassinTips.com, It is full of all kind of information regarding bass fishing, even safety tips etc, their video’s are interesting to watch when i cant get out on the water. I have looked up some other fishing website but it seems they do not go into as much detail or do not see to be tips but rather facts.
I would be curious to know of any good ones if you know of any!

How do you correct backlashes using a baitcasting reel for bass fishing?

Realizing that some backlashes are gonna occur regardless,I would like to know how to do away with the annoyance of most.Particularly when changing lure size or simply casting into a prevailing wind.I’ve been using these reels for a few years but can’t seem to overcome this problem and would very much appreciate any" tips "to help avoid this pesty problem as much as possible so the frustration level can be dealt with a bit better and to make my fishing time on the water a more enjoyable experience.

bass fishing tips for summer time on a mouth of a river ?

i have been bass fishing all this spring in the mouth of a big river and i have tried catching them on spinners,little cleos. crankbaits and mepps and nightcrawlers, but i havent really had much luck. yea i reel in a few every once in a while but i catch more pike than i do bass. i go in rockbeds , weeds, lilly pads, brush piles but havent had much biting, does the time of the day have anything to do with it or do i need a different lure or is there other spots i should be trying? i need some advice and tips.

I have been trying to scope out northern kentucky for some bass fishing. For a while during the spring, it was okay, but now the summer and lack of rain is making bass fishing here bad. Where can I go in northern ky or southern ohio (cincinnati)?? If you could provide them, some general tips on catching bass at that lake??
