Got something to say?

Your Q is kind of hard to answer. Each lake/river/stream has it’s own characteristic’s and best places to catch Bass.
Here are some "general" tips that might help you:
1. Bass love to "ambush" their prey. Try to find "shady" edges and or changes along the shoreline:
Example- Boat docks and thick weeds offer bass a place to hide while waiting to "pounce" on their forage. Bass will hold tight to this structure so an accurate cast close to any structures or weed-lines is important.
Also, changes in weed "types" can be very productive:
Example- Look along a shoreline and note the various different water plants growing in the water. Each plant has a favorite lake-bottom soil & depth it likes to grow in. Lily pads generally like mud-bottom, grow in 4-7FT and offer Bass some form of shade. Reeds usually grow in shallow sandy bottom and offer very little shade or protection. Cabbage likes a sandy/muddy bottom and grows thick in patches up to 8-10 Ft!
Whats the point? Each weed can hold Bass at certain times during the day. Your "best spot’s" along any weedbeds will be where 2-3 DIFFERENT types of plants meet. A change in weeds can mean a change in bottom structure, depth, and O2 levels.
2. If you are going fishing on a boat it’s always a good idea to take along a map that shows depth contours.
3. Point’s, channel’s, rocky bottom’s, Etc can all hold fish. However, (in general), Bass love "shady shallows with quick access to deep water". (That’s why Bass fishermen LOVE docks! A dock is a man-made "reef" to a Bass!!)
4. Bass (generally) feed better during low light conditions. Rainy days, Dusk and Dawn, Etc. will always be your best "times" to fish,
5. Best bait’s for Bass???- Shiner’s, Crawdad’s, Minnows, &
Nightcrawler’s, (large earthworms).
Hope this helps ya? Good luck fishing!
If you’re one shore at a lake try rocky points in both murky and clear water try dropshotting a Ika or Robo. In the Summer go near weeds and cast a frog or topwater in the evening. Also try baits that resemble baby bluegills.
nightcrawlers, weeds, bobber
A good place for great bass is anywhere near lilly pads in or around .
