Got something to say?

I’d stick with the fake worms, rig them texas style with no weight added, this should catch bass even in mid-day. But if you really want to change lures i’d recommend a small strike king spinner bait with a single small colorado blade, in black or blue/black. Cast it out as far as you can along the weeds/lily pads, let it sink for a few seconds, then reel it back as slow as you can (just fast enough to keep the blade spinning). Hang on tight! You may even want to try a Rapala x-rap/ olive green color. Or you could even get small 3-4 inch yo zuri pins minnows, i always go with more natural colors, just cast ‘em out and crank ‘em back slowly. Bass see these lures as injured bait fish, and just cant seem to resist them. Good Luck! Hope this helps!
this time of the year, the bass are trying to get fat for winter. most of them are in group feeding on bait fishes out in the open water; to catch those, use a spoon/sinking rapala. most of the bass are still lurking around fish structures like where you have around your dock, lily pads. your top water lures: frogs, poppers, jitterbugs, etc; will still be productive. usually the big-o bass are still doing the ambush thing, so try using a 1/2-1 oz spinnerbait; single blade or double, doesn’t matter.
good luck to you!
