bass fishing the potomac.?

this summer i will tr to fish more on the potomac river. when i have fished there i have caught only 4-5 bass and the biggest one was only 2lbs. what are some tips for Bass fishing the potomac.
btw, the potomac is between maryland and virginia and next to dc

l have no idea how you have been fishing but a two pounder is not a bad one. you evidently found a pattern that works so l would stick with that, expand on it and eventually the bigger ones will be found with more regularity.
if you have areas of rip-rap, fallen trees or lots of grass, try these spots.
fishing during tide movements, especially incoming, should increase chances if you are fishing in tidal waters.
