my lake is realllllly murky. When should i fish? What kind of bait for bass. I don’t know what type of bass. What color of the bait if the lake is murky. How long does it usually take to catch a bass. Where on the lake do they usually reside. From how far from the shore are they usually?
Do you use a bobber? If so, how far away from the hook do you usually put it?

I have been fishing for many years now so I am not a fishing newbie but I am not sure about lure colors and how water clarity and weather conditions effect what would be the best choices. I like fishing spinners and crank baits and am asking for tips on color selection in specific conditions. I fish the mississippi river backwaters so the water is usually pretty murky and dark.

This is my first time fishing in a lake and i heard there are smallmouth and largemouth bass in the lake. Any tips? Also what size hook should i use and what type of bait? I have the "fake worms" with all sorts of colors and and some sort of bait that has the fuzzy part of a spinner bait but just a hook on the end no spinner. HELP!

i fish in a small pond with a few large mouth bass and just cant seem to catch them. im using a top water lure and staying close to the wees but still cant seem to get them. anyone got any tips?

the bass havent bitten lures in forever when i first dicovered they ate lures was in april then they stopped in may.should i try livebait or lures.what lures should i use i have some crawfish,rat-l-traps,chug bugs,that pop-r thing or whatever its called please help me .oh and any tips on how to stay cool its a hot day here in texas today.

I am going to a pond today and want to catch some Bass. I am going to be using night crawlers and I also have some plastic worms. What works better? and how should i set them on the hook?Should i zig zag the worm on or slide the worm all the way down the hook?
